CELPIP Writing Task 2: Responding To Survey

 A like task one it is important to read both the sides of the screen. The information on the left gives you important details about the situation and might help you come up with ideas too. So it is really important to read everything. You have lot of time like 26 to 27 minutes carefully and alike task one there is same word count of 150 to 200, and never go twenty words more or fifteen words under. If it is not followed then you score is going to be affected.

Task 2 is a survey question

It is a survey question but not an essay question. So it is asking you to explain reasons, focus on giving reasons why you think your choice is better and compare it to the other choice. Why is your choice better? This is not an essay. Come for Tally training in Dubai!

 On screen tools

You will have a timer that will count down your time, so you can always see how much you have left to go. Beside the timer there is a next button and you never have to use this. Keep in mind you never have to touch the next button anytime during the CELPIP test. Next means you would be destined to the next screen after touching it. Which simply means that if you are done with task 1 then you click on this button then you would reach to the screen of task 2. Here one thing is important to keep in mind that if you are five minutes before the dead line then it does not mean that it would be added to the next task’s time. So finishing a task little bit faster is not be helpful by providing extra for the next task.

 Spell check

You will always see the word counter below the text box. There is also a spell check and the spell check will underline your spelling errors. However some words look very similar to other words and you probably already know this. You are an English language learner and you know that spelling in English language is little bit crazy. Spell check only checks the spelling but if one makes the wrong choice it is not going to underline it. For if there are two options like customers-costumers the customer is a person that purchases something from a shop while costumer is a person that makes costumes. So word choice is solely your responsibility.
